Scripture: Matthew 4:1-11
Synopsis: Jesus began His earth ministry by fasting 40 days and nights in the desert. During that time the devil tempted Him three times. He was tempted to be self-sufficient, spectacular, and powerful. In each of these temptations Jesus fell back on His relationship with His heavenly Father. We all deal with temptations in our lives. What would happen if we could fight temptation the way Jesus did?
