The Love Da Vinci Code

http://www.633main.com/dev244.htm Ok, I'm doing it again. I'm using movie hype to get your attention. My guess is that the movie The Da Vinci Code will be the highest grossing movie of all time. I said it first. But today's podcast is for all those people who are looking for love. I want to encourage you. I have a testimony to share. About eleven years ago, this girl in my organic chemistry class in college caught my eye. And due to my lack of game, when I got home I looked her number up in the phone book and asked her if she wanted to study together. And she said yes. Now, after we started dating, we dated a year, broke up for a year, dated another year, then broke up for a year, and then got engaged and married. How's that for a roller coaster ride for ya? Now during the last year that we were on what seemingly became our year hiatus of never speaking to each other again, I began to date a friend in New York. I thought that maybe this time I could get it right. My friend and I wanted to settle down, and she claimed that she agreed that God should be first in our relationship. Well after five months of travelling back and forth to New York every other week, I found out that our idea of having God first in our relationship was vastly different. Needless to say, we broke up. And I gave up. Now you would find that funny because I was only 22! LOL But, I distinctly remember praying to God and saying, "God, I give up. I hear you loud and clear that I am to be like Paul and live a single life. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but OK, if you say so." Then a few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail from Kesha. I couldn't believe it!. Totally unexpected, we began to talk again. Who would have thought that after two break ups with the same woman, that we could work out our differences! Now, look. I don't know your situation. But I believe that two people coming together and staying married is a MIRACLE. This kind of miracle is no different than turning water into wine. As you may know, there are a lot of knucleheads out there, and for the two right people to find each other and stay together is truly an act of God. Kesha and I have been married almost 7 years now. While there have been many challenging times in our relationship, before we got married we resolved that we would never consider divorce as a solution or option. We understood that our marriage would not be like the Huxtables on the Cosby Show. We also agreed that the same act of God that brought us together, will be the same act that will keep us together. So pray this prayer with me, "Father, please give the single people out their the ability to be single. And if they are looking, open their eyes to your choice, not theirs. And to the those who are married, help them to realize You are the only way they can stay together. In Jesus name, Amen." And this is my Love Da Vinci Code...
