Who's Your Daddy?

http://www.633main.com/dev248.htm Who's Your Daddy? I will be your father, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor. 6:18 This one is just time for Father's Day. And this one is encouragement to remind you who your daddy is! You ever wonder why Satan hates you so much? Well it's cause of your dad. Anyone ever tell you you have your father's eyes? Well you do. You were made in His image. And Satan hates you cause when he looks at you, he sees God. In 2 Cor. 6:18, God says, "I will be your Father, and you shall be my sons and daughters." How awesome is that? I'm rich! In my father's house are many mansions. So from hence forth my alias will be "Rich Kid". I might even start wearing Polos and blazers everday. But the encouragement for you today is to walk around with a chip on your shoulder, cause your dad is bigger than the bullies dad. If you have never had a close relationship with your father, here is the opportunity to change that. God loves you so much, that instead of calling you a friend, or a cousin, he calls you his kid. And you should be proud! Your self esteem should be higher than gas prices. My Grandaddy just turned 83 on Saturday. I have never told him this, but I am proud to be his grandson. This man raised seven kids by hisself after my grandmother passed and was a highschool principal back in the 60s and 70s. For a black man to do this in that era was awesome. My granddad makes wearing the last name Lusain an Honor! And this is similar to how we should carry ourselves as children of the King. It is an honor! I don't care who you are, how low you may have fallen, or who hates you, you carry something better than a last name. You carry the blood of Jesus Christ in your veins. You're God's blood, and all you have to do is accept it. When my friend prays he always opens his prayer with "Daddy God" How appropraite! He talks with God like He is his daddy. He knows who his daddy is! So pray this prayer with me, "Daddy God, help me to remember this week, who's kid I am. Help me to remember the blood that was shed by our Elder Brother for remission of our sins. Help me realize how much you care about me that you would not let anything happen to your own child. I praise your holy name and thank you for being my dad. -Eric Lusain, Cincinnati, OH
