2007 - You're Free (Audio)

Easter 2007 has come and gone and marks the close of our, "Remember. . ." series.  Pastor Nate leaves us with a final thought from the life of Thomas, one of the original twelve disciples.  Thomas was a man who had missed out on a significant occurance in the lives of the other ten disciples and as a result, he simply could not believe that the man he saw brutally executed could have risen from the grave.

Thomas found himself "staring at a wall" and much like Thomas, we sometimes find ourselves in similar situations.  We know that there's more to the Easter story than painted eggs and chocolate bunnies.  We know that perhaps we missed out on an experience that everyone else can attest to, but for the life of us, we cannot understand.  We may even feel like God left us out for a reason, which has caused bitterness to take hold of our hearts.

But this Easter season, God wants us to remember that those whom He has set free is free indeed!  He wants us to move from our corners of uncertainty and disbelief to a place of trust and faith.  And the good news is this: He won't leave us to do it alone.  Jesus came to bridge the gap that we could never cross by our own merit.  And He is waiting to guide us into that place of trust and faith and revelation in a way that we can grasp and is uniquely personal to us.

So if you're listening right now and can't believe that this Jesus guy is real, go ahead and ask Him.
