2008 - Raise The Bar, Part 1 (Audio)

This week we begin a look at why we do Life Journaling around New Life in a series called Raise The Bar: Are You Hearing From God?  So what is Life Journaling?  What's its purpose?  How do we do it?  What are some things that it's not?

The most important thing to bear in mind is that we believe God is always speaking to us in ways that directly affect our hearts and lives.  One of the ways that we can keep our hearts sensitive to hear God's voice is to prioritize consistent Bible reading and write down the things that God says to us.  With time and by putting His words into practice, we renew our minds and are then able to speak God's words to others, prophetically.  That is, we can speak the things to others that God would say to them as if He were standing there in our place.
